Riedel 8-Piece Vinum Bordeaux and Viognier Glassware Set

We have used Riedel wine glasses for many years and know them to be top of the line quality. If you are a wine lover, you undoubtedly already know this and, if you are not, you will find Riedel to be a nice step up from whatever you are currently using. The Vinum Bordeaux are perfect for a number of wines, especially, Cabernets, Merlots and, of course Bordeaux. They allow for a good swirl, the size helps the wine open up and testing for the nose is very simple. However, as I've written before, and like any fine glassware, they are a little delicate and eventually you or one of your guests will probably break one. That's basically what led to the above order and when there was a special going on that also included a set of four Riedel Viognier glasses at no extra charge, the deal was impossible to pass up. The Viognier glasses were a bit smaller than I expected, but we have found them to be very good for Chardonnays, Sauvignon Blanc and Fume Blanc type wines. They fit nicely into the dishwasher and that is a good thing because their size makes them a bit more difficult to hand wash. There is little way you can go wrong with Riedel. Enjoy.
